This is a sweet Christian series, and the mysteries are interesting, but the typos bother me. Still, I love the cruise setting and the characters are nice.

I loved Caraval and was really looking forward to Tella's story, but this book has some loose threads that left me a little confused. I hope the 3rd book in the series addresses them. Mostly, I felt that Dante was not acting like he did on the first one. Didn't he win the previous Caraval? Wasn't his sister the one that died? None of that was addressed in the 2nd book. I'm starting Finale today, and I hope my questions get answered.
